When he isn't working as an attorney, Marc Rovner enjoys following his favorite National Football League (NFL) team, the New York Giants.

Following a first-round playoff exit in 2016, the Giants entered the 2017 NFL draft with the 23rd overall selection. The team's general manager, Jerry Reese, used that pick to fill a major need on offense by drafting Evan Engram. A 6-foot-3, 234-pound tight end, Engram played the past four seasons with Ole Miss University, where he recorded a combined 15 touchdowns. He had his most productive year in 2016, when he scored eight touchdowns and caught a team-leading 65 passes for 926 yards.

Engram was named to the All-SEC and All-American teams in 2016 and finished fourth in the conference in receptions and fifth in receiving yards. The Giants had five other picks in the draft and added defensive tackle Dalvin Tomlinson, quarterback Davis Webb, running back Wayne Gallman, defensive end Avery Moss, and offensive tackle Adam Bisnowaty.
