Marc Rovner is an award-winning attorney from East Rockaway, New York, who oversees the legal department in Oceanside, New York of BETA Abstract as the company’s general counsel and director of business development. Beyond his professional obligations, Marc Rovner supports children in need through contributions to the Garden of Dreams Foundation.
The nonprofits signature initiatives include the Giving Program, which collaborates with partnering organizations to fund scholarships and long-lasting community projects. Established in 2015, the Garden of Dreams Inspire Scholarship provides high school seniors with a $10,000 scholarship toward college tuition and expenses. The award is presented on an annual basis to 12 students, who may request renewal of the award amount for up to four years.
In addition, the Giving Program aids partner organizations with an assortment of community programs. Projects range from civic enhancements to the refurbishment and remodel of community spaces for children. Past improvement projects include refurbishing the SCO Family Services gymnasium and remodeling Hackensack University Medical Center’s pediatric outpatient welcome area.
